What is Stopping you??

20170509_182757[1]

What is God asking you to do?

What is stopping you from proceeding through?

And ye came near and stood under the mountain; and the mountain burned with fire unto the midst of heaven, with darkness, clouds, and thick darkness.

And the LORD spake unto you out of the midst of the fire: ye heard the voice of the words, but saw no similitude; only ye heard a voice.

And he declared unto you his covenant, which he commanded you to perform, even ten commandments; and he wrote them upon two tables of stone.
And the LORD commanded me at that time to teach you statutes and judgments, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go over to possess it.
Take ye therefore good heed unto yourselves; for ye saw no manner of similitude on the day that the LORD spake unto you in Horeb out of the midst of the fire:
(Deuteronomy 4:11-15)
When God spoke to Moses He did not Show Himself! Moses simply heard God speak!!!!
Did God lay something on your heart to do?
When?
Today, Yesterday, a year ago, or maybe 20 years ago??
Is it still nagging at you?
Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared.

Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him.

But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries.
(Exodus 23:20-22)
Seek God and ask Him to lead you to follow the path He is commanding YOU to do!
He will provide the way!! Allow Him to use you!! Put ALL your trust in Him!!!
Love,
Faithful n Blessed

Who are you Obeying?

FB_IMG_1493310716102[1]

Have you ever been told not to say the Lord’s name in vain??

Who told you that? Did you obey them even if they where in another room?

Well when I was a little girl my great grandmother always got on to me when I would say the Lords name in vain! So as I grew up, it became a rule not to say His name in vain… If I herd someone else say Gods name in vain, I would instantly tell them not to!!

My question; as I got older was, where did that come from???

The Holy Bible!!!

Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain: for the Lord will not hold him guiltless than taketh his name in vain.   Deuteronomy 5:11

When I was a child my guide was my grandmother, in this situation. Even now I still don’t say Gods name in vain, not because my grandmother told me not to, I do it because, I have the desire in my heart to obey God not the world!!!

For this God is our God forever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death.               Psalms 48:14

Who Is your guide in life??

God or Men???

Have a blessed day… My challenge for you today—– Read 1 chapter from the Bible!! I Love Philippians!!! If you want to start there! God will speak to your heart “If” you seek Him!!

Love, Candace

How Long Has God Been Asking You To Do Something??

Do you struggle daily??  What  are you struggling at??

I do…. I never know how to go threw out the day! I sit stressing about how messy my house is and how my refrigerator is empty! Making list after list of what needs done, not knowing where to start! researching on Pinterest on how to clean my house and how to be more organized!!

Then I sit on my butt, not accomplishing anything I know that needs to be done…

Do you do this? Or is it just me!?

I gave my life to Jesus Christ August of 2015!!! I was sitting on my sisters couch getting ready to be going threw a divorce!! As I was sitting there not knowing what to do, I prayed, asking God to lead me and lead my marriage where He wanted it to be!! I was done and giving up on everything! So I placed it in Gods hands! With out even knowing it, God lead us back together and lead me to His Word!! He changed  my heart and kept me focused on Him!!

Anyways, I’m getting off track..

In 2016 I started getting up at 5am, when everyone was still asleep, to spend time with Jesus Christ, because that is what the Holy Spirit was leading me to do!!

Do you remember me telling you I struggled threw out the days stressing and not getting anything done?

Well after putting God first on my heart.. He took the stress and heartache off and had the Holy Spirit lead me threw the day!

If I seen the dishes needed done, I done it…

If I seen the laundry getting behind, I started a load…

I continued to let the Holy Spirit lead me.. I was Joyful with out stress, Focusing On what was right in the Lords eyes!

I stopped writing my list! I stopped looking on Pinterest for answers!

GODS WORD IS SOOOO POWERFUL!!!

Then…

I  stopped…

Stopped following the Holy Spirit…

Stopped starting my day with Jesus Christ!!!

So then, My stress came back…

Me making  lists came back…

My messy house came back…

I started getting behind, and most of all I started Disobeying God!

A few days ago, I sat in my chair, Just miserable inside, and OVERWHELMED!!! I put my phone down and opened my Bible study!

Through that God Spoke straight to my heart!! Giving me an example of Soloman and how he picked and choosed what part part of Gods word he was going to obey, so there where consequences for him doing that. In the Bible study it gave me a Bible verse, to write down…

And we know that all things  work together for good to them that Love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.(Romans 8:28)

So I got a notebook from off my desk! I opened it up and turned to a List I wrote in 2012!!!!

On the Top of that it had 5:30am- Time with the Lord!!!! What???? SO GOD HAS BEEN ASKING ME FOR 6 YEARS TO GET UP AT 5am  TO FOCUS ON HIM???? Where have I been and Why am I STILL struggling with it???

God has shown me His blessing if I Obey!!! A Peaceful day following the Holy Spirit! Simply by Obeying Him, getting up at 5am, and building my relationship with Him!!!

Is there something God Is asking you to do right now??? What is it??? Pray, Ask God for the desire and knowledge to do exactly what He wants you to do!

God has a plan for us, if we trust and Obey we will experience His Blessings!!!

Thank you for reading my Post! If it touched your heart, please share so it can touch someone’s heart that would have never had the chance to read this if you did not share it with them!!  Thank you, in advance!! 🙂

S-L-E-E-P!

1473021049125Ever since I’ve been working on my relationship with God I figured out one of my weaknesses, sleep/laziness. For example I crave food even when I’m not hungry and I eat it, uncontrollably. Well I crave sleep even when I’m not tired and I go to bed, uncontrollably.
About a year ago I was doing a Bible study and it was talking about laziness and explaining how it is sin. How can you do what God is asking you to do if you don’t get up?
Proverbs 20:4    the slugger will not plow by season of the cold; therefor shall he beg in harvest, and have nothing.
That verse reminds me of cleaning my house, I have a desire to have a clean house, but I’m to lazy to get up and put the effort in doing the dishes, washing the laundry, and picking up every room daily!  That goes along with my spiritual walk as well… If I have a desire to know God, I have to put the effort in getting up and reading my bible daily! How can God Speak to me If I don’t open the bible?

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourself: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.    Ephesians 2: 8-10
So anyways… The other day I was extremely tired… I was being tempted to go to bed, so God could not use me! Well I was not looking at it that way, at the time… I was on my way to me bed thinking, maybe God is wanting me to go to bed for some reason?? Then Instantly, after thinking that, God put on my heart the Bible verse… Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempted he any man: But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.     James 1:13-15
I don’t know about you but God made that pretty clear to me!
So then I asked God for the strength to stay out of bed so that He could use me… I was tempted all day and tired, but God gave me the motivation to keep going. Then that night God blessed our whole family We were all working together and spending time with each other!
I pray if you find yourself in temptation, (with laziness, bad habits, addictions or things God has just simply asked you not to do because it comes between you and His relationship) today or this week, you will ask God for the strength and desire to do what He wants you to do!! Have a good week and thank you for taking the time to read my post!
What are some things God has on your heart to change? What are some things God has already changed about you?

You Get What You want But Not Exactly How You Wanted It!

I was praying early in the morning during my time with God, thanking God for everything he has blessed me with!

• My house.

• My freedom to sit and build my relationship with Him.

• My kids.

• My new kitchen table.

• My cold clean water I have to drink, and so on.

Then as I’m thanking Him for all those things and more, I start thinking… the things I’m thanking Him for are things I also complain about throughout the days…

• I wish I had a real house not a trailer house.

• When I study I never remember anything anyways.

• My kids are always fighting and they never pick up after themselves.

• The new table my husband got is red and expensive.

Then I REMEMBERED the verse… (Maybe I should think twice before complaining about not memorizing things from my Bible studies!)

James 3:10

Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.

1471463700501

Thank you for taking the time to read this. I pray that it helps you to think positive and thank God for all of His Blessing and to not complain about them throughout your week.

If this post spoke to you in anyway, don’t forget to share it with someone… God might be trying too speak to someone else, today as well. Thank you!

I’m Worthless and Want to Give Up!!!

Do you ever feel worthless?

Do you ever feel like giving up?

do you ever feel like there has got to be more to this confusing messed up life?

Well, I have!!!

So, I figured I could share what lifted me up!

Yes, I have felt worthless, a lot more than I want to admit it!

The thing is, the devil loves it when he gets me to this point in my life! He wants me to feel so worthless that I want to Give Up!!! So I gave him just what he wanted me to do… I gave up… Just not exactly the way he wanted me to…. I surrendered my life to Christ! I gave up my life that is a mess, and gave it to God.

I want to walk in the path God paves for me! I no longer want to follow my own heart!

The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? Jeremiah 17:9

A man’s heart deviseth his way: but the Lord directeth his steps. Proverbs 16:9

Im seeking after Gods heart! Which answers the third question…

There is more to this life on earth! God has a purpose for us! (we just need to ask for forgiveness and let Him lead us… Which then means we also have to follow Him…

And as they departed from Jericho, a great multitude followed him.

And, behold, two blind men sitting by the way side, when they heard that Jesus passed by, cried out,  saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou Son of David.

And the multitude rebuked them, because they should hold their peace: but they cried the more, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou son of David.

And Jesus stood still, and called them, and said, What will ye that I shall do unto you?

They say unto him, Lord, that our eyes may be opened.

So Jesus had compassion on them, and touched their eyes: and Immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed him. (Matthew 20:29-34)

This spoke to me during my Bible study… Made me remember when I was so down and hopeless, I looked up to Him and asked Him to open my eyes to understand His word, so He can use me!

Just like Jesus took the time to open the eyes of the two blind men. He took the time to open my eyes to see the truth! He is still working on me and He will be till the day I leave this earth to live for eternity in Heaven!

So, know that your have been reminded about what Jesus done for the two blind men… and what He has done for me… You can now ask Him to do the same for you!!!

Your life is not worthless, don’t give up the way the devil wants you to… Instead Give up your life to follow the will God has for you! there is more peace and happiness in following Jesus! I Only know that because He has shown me!

If this lifted you up, Don’t forget to share… I would Love to hear your comments as well!!! Thank you for your time!

Why Am I Always Thirsty?

1465571758062_30169210-1465570669954_640x640

Let’s start this post out by saying…

If you are on this page, don’t stop readying till the end… See what speaks to your heart…

There is a reason you came to this page… I believe that with all my heart!!!

Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.

Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? And your labour for that which satisfieth not? Hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.

Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.

Behold, I have given him for a witness to the people, a leader and commander to the people.

Behold, thou shalt call nations that thou knowest not, and nations that knew not thee shall run unto thee because of the LORD thy God, and for the Holy One of Isreal; for he hath glorified thee.

Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon Him while he is near;

(Isaiah 55:1-6)

The other morning I opened my Bible to this chapter. God opened my eyes to understand something that I should have probably already understood!

I’m going to share my ignorance with you… Yes you can laugh at me…  I had no common sense about this topic… But thank the Lord He opened my eyes with understanding!!!

When the preacher or someone would talk about drinking from the well or waters from God, he will take our thirst away!!!

I instantly start thinking… that would be nice, I’m always thirsty… I hope I’m not the only goof ball…

Well the other morning God sure opened my eyes to a whole new perspective…

Instead of talking about being thirsty for water, it’s talking about being thirsty for the Holy Spirit, the everlasting life, the wisdom and knowledge of God… It doesn’t matter if you are poor, rich, smart, or a dingus, (like me)  Come to Him and He will provide!

It goes on and talks about, would we do labour where it satisfieth not?

Well I wouldn’t… So why do we keep seeking for happiness and peace here on this world?

We need to open our ears, read Gods Word, and hear what he has for us!

God will lead us, if we surrender our lives here on earth to walk in the will He has for us!

But I don’t know what His will for me is?

Stick with the last thing God put on your heart to do!

David was a witness to the people, the ones that did not know God where still thirsty… So they came and listened!

Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near!

Do you feel like He is speaking to you???

He probably is…

So here is something I have learned… We all live forever… What???

Yep, that’s right!

We live forever in hell or we live forever in Heaven!!!

This life here on Earth is very short on the life scale!

But this short life on Earth is where we get the blessing to choose to go to hell or to Heaven for eternity!

We have the chance to seek God and Surrender our lives to Him! BUT….

We need to do it while we have the chance… Once we die or once Jesus comes back, it will be too late to seek Him…

Look at it this way…

We are either the closest to hell here on Earth or we are closest to Heaven here on Earth!!!

The Good thing!!! YOU are in control of that!!!

For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.

(Matthew 16:25)

Thank you for your time, I appreciate you taking the time to read it till the end!!! Please leave a comment and don’t forget to share!!! I would like to hear your likes, dislikes, and my mistakes?

My Goal is to share what God has blessed me with and what he has opened my eyes to understand… Also to Trust Him to lift one person up to focus their eyes on Him, so they can find the peace and love that I have threw surrendering my life to Him!!!

Every Soul Bears It’s own Iniquity!

I don’t have to follow Jesus; my friend is a follower of Christ, so that mean I’m safe from hell, Right?
I don’t have to go to church; my father is a preacher, so that means I’m safe from hell, Right?
I don’t have to repent from my sins; my sister/brother is saved, so I’m also saved from hell, Right?
Or
All of my family follow the devil, I don’t have any chance in living a Christian life, Right?

2016-05-03 09.51.14

All this has been on my heart a lot lately…
I have heard/said many of these questions/statements!
Well I can answer these questions/statements…
Not with my opinion, but threw Gods word!

Let’s just start by saying this…
Behold, all souls are mine; as the
Soul of the father, so also the soul of
the son is mine: the soul that sinneth,
it shall die.

Now that’s pretty clear to me!
But I’m not going to stop there!

If you are a righteous man you shall
surely live, saith the Lord God.
If you can spear a little more time to meditate
on what God says, read Ezekiel 18:5-9

If the righteous man has a son which
is not righteous, the son shall surely die.
What I understood by reading Ezekiel 18:10-13 is…
If your father is saved (follows Jesus) and you are not saved (following the devil),
you will not go to heaven for eternity… you will go to hell for eternity!

Now that pretty clear to me…
But we can’t stop there…

If that unrighteous son/father has a son who seeth
his fathers’ sins and turns from his fathers’ ways…
to be righteous to the heavenly Father, He shall surely live…

What I got out of reading Ezekiel 18:14-17 is…
If your father is not save/follows the devil and you are saved/follows Jesus,
You will go to heaven for eternity… you will not go to hell for eternity!

As for the father, he shall die in his iniquity…
So why does the son not bear the iniquity of the father?
Because he done which was lawful and right, he shall surely live…

The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear
the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear
the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous
shall be upon him, and the wickedness of
the wicked shall be upon him.

If you want to Get Closer to God, Open your bible… Its not that boring to read the bible. We just went over Ezekiel 18:4-20… When you want to make some time to go and read verse 21 through 32… Its even better!

Am I Loved?

What is it that makes you know you are loved?

Someone saying I love you… (OR)
someone’s actions?

The true question for this blog is not are you loved…

but the complete opposite!!

Do you love Him?? I know, who is Him…?
I love you Picture
The other day at my oldest sons basketball team practice. I had My two youngest boys with me sitting on the bleachers! Well, it was not that easy for all the siblings to sit quietly during the practice.
So they started to play, and as they played they got louder and louder! So I ask my little one to sit down and watch the practice so the basketball team can hear their coach! Without hesitation he obeyed me, (I know, it shocked me too!) sitting there watching the other children continue to play like he wanted to…
I was so proud of him I sat by him and told him how proud I was of him for listening even when I was hard!

I know… I know… What does that have to do with love??

Well… remember when I asked you if you loved Him??

That “Him” that I was talking about is God!

My son Obeying me, made me realize… I can tell God I love Him every day But am I showing Him I love Him? Well obedience to God demonstrates my/our love for Him!! He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is the loveth me: and he the loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. (John 14-21) KJV

Like my son, with temptations to disobey…. Storms, temptations, troubles may come but the believer whose life is built on the rock of  obedience to the Lord will be steadfast! And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like: He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon the house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon the rock. But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great (Luke 6:46-49) KJV

Trust Jesus Not the GPS!

Before I left to go visit some family I had not seen in a long time. I got my GPS, off my cell phone and typed their address in. My GPS usually gives me two or three routs to choose from.

I was not in any hurry, so I chose the longest route which was a very straight path and I got to my destination without any trouble.

After visiting my family at the end of the day, I got my GPS again to select the route that I wanted to lead me home. It was late, dark, and I was ready to get home. So I chose the “fastest” route, even thought It was curvy and had lots of turns. As I was driving, I was not paying any attention to the GPS. I lost service to my cell phone, which means the GPS stopped working!

I pulled over, realizing I had passed my turn and had gone a few blocks to far. I was an hour away from home and had no clue how to get there…. I was freaking out, but not showing it for the sake of the kids in the back seat! So I prayed and asked God to have the GPS work and lead me home.

After I reset the GPS God had answered my prayer. He done what seemed impossible to the world. He made the GPS work, with no problems and no service, the rest of the way home.

Threw all this I had a few blessing. This incident got me thinking about my walk with God.

  •  Blessing 1… I realized, sometimes the devil will show me a road that seams “faster” to get to where I’m going, so  through that he can side tract me and make me stumble and fall in my walk with Jesus. Gods way may not be the easy/fastest way BUT it is the Right way.  Like Jesus, Him being crucified so we may be forgiven, was not the way Jesus wanted it to be and it was not the easy way! And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt. (Matthew 26:39)
  • Blessing 2… when I go down the wrong road, that leads me farther away from God, I can pray and ask God for forgiveness and for Him to lead down the road he wants me to go (the right road). He will be right there beside me to pick me up and help me change my ways. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. (Proverbs 3:6)
  • Blessing 3… I realized, I am to trust and follow Jesus Christ to lead me where I am supposed to be in my walk with him and where I am wanting to go (Heaven), just like I do with the GPS. Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and  lean not unto thine own understanding. (proverbs 3:5)

Did God speak to you threw my story? Is he Trying to get your attention? Have you fallen away from Him? Don’t worry, He is forgiving, He will take your hand and lead you, you just have to give Him your WHOLE heart and have Him lead you. There is a key to this! Shockingly it is not only praying, It is reading His Word, (The Bible) I prefer KJV! His word will save you and teach you!

You say you cant understand! Just keep reading!!!!! Don’t give up!!!!! Read and highlight what you do understand, I bet you will be surprised at how much you will understand! If you don’t understand a verse, read it twice, if you still don’t understand, Go on that’s probably just not what God want’s you to understand YET! Remember DONT GIVE UP!!! ( If Jesus gave up on the cross, We would not be able to be saved!)
