Why Am I Always Thirsty?

Let’s start this post out by saying…

If you are on this page, don’t stop readying till the end… See what speaks to your heart…

There is a reason you came to this page… I believe that with all my heart!!!

Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.

Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? And your labour for that which satisfieth not? Hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.

Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.

Behold, I have given him for a witness to the people, a leader and commander to the people.

Behold, thou shalt call nations that thou knowest not, and nations that knew not thee shall run unto thee because of the LORD thy God, and for the Holy One of Isreal; for he hath glorified thee.

Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon Him while he is near;

(Isaiah 55:1-6)

The other morning I opened my Bible to this chapter. God opened my eyes to understand something that I should have probably already understood!

I’m going to share my ignorance with you… Yes you can laugh at me…  I had no common sense about this topic… But thank the Lord He opened my eyes with understanding!!!

When the preacher or someone would talk about drinking from the well or waters from God, he will take our thirst away!!!

I instantly start thinking… that would be nice, I’m always thirsty… I hope I’m not the only goof ball…

Well the other morning God sure opened my eyes to a whole new perspective…

Instead of talking about being thirsty for water, it’s talking about being thirsty for the Holy Spirit, the everlasting life, the wisdom and knowledge of God… It doesn’t matter if you are poor, rich, smart, or a dingus, (like me)  Come to Him and He will provide!

It goes on and talks about, would we do labour where it satisfieth not?

Well I wouldn’t… So why do we keep seeking for happiness and peace here on this world?

We need to open our ears, read Gods Word, and hear what he has for us!

God will lead us, if we surrender our lives here on earth to walk in the will He has for us!

But I don’t know what His will for me is?

Stick with the last thing God put on your heart to do!

David was a witness to the people, the ones that did not know God where still thirsty… So they came and listened!

Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near!

Do you feel like He is speaking to you???

He probably is…

So here is something I have learned… We all live forever… What???

Yep, that’s right!

We live forever in hell or we live forever in Heaven!!!

This life here on Earth is very short on the life scale!

But this short life on Earth is where we get the blessing to choose to go to hell or to Heaven for eternity!

We have the chance to seek God and Surrender our lives to Him! BUT….

We need to do it while we have the chance… Once we die or once Jesus comes back, it will be too late to seek Him…

Look at it this way…

We are either the closest to hell here on Earth or we are closest to Heaven here on Earth!!!

The Good thing!!! YOU are in control of that!!!

For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.

(Matthew 16:25)

Thank you for your time, I appreciate you taking the time to read it till the end!!! Please leave a comment and don’t forget to share!!! I would like to hear your likes, dislikes, and my mistakes?

My Goal is to share what God has blessed me with and what he has opened my eyes to understand… Also to Trust Him to lift one person up to focus their eyes on Him, so they can find the peace and love that I have threw surrendering my life to Him!!!
